As a Backend Development Intern, you will work alongside a team of experienced engineers who are pioneering real-time, large-scale decisioning systems used by some of the most innovative enterprises globally. You’ll design, build, and optimize backend systems that drive high-scale, data-intensive platforms , while gaining hands-on exposure to Generative AI and cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of identity verification.

What you'll do:

Design and build scalable backend services and APIs that power Socure’s real-time identity verification and fraud detection systems.
Collaborate with engineers and AI experts to integrate Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into production-grade backend workflows.

What you bring:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++).
Understanding of object-oriented design, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based architectures.
Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine curiosity to learn new technologies.
Interest in AI, machine learning, or backend systems.
