Overview

Socure is the leading platform for digital identity trust. Its predictive analytics platform applies artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques with trusted online/offline data intelligence from email, phone, address, IP, device, velocity, and the broader internet to verify identities in real time.


We are seeking results-oriented sales leader to join our team as the Director of Federal Sales. This position will report directly to our GM of Public Sector and will be responsible for new business revenue growth of our public sector vertical through direct pursuits and strategic partnerships within the Federal space. This position requires strong selling skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to bring value to customers and technology partners and drive growth for the business.


The Director of Federal Sales will have knowledge and experience with the Federal market buying criteria, acquisition vehicles, procurement trends/tendencies, and an understanding of the current competitive landscape. You will have the ability to work across industry to determine teaming strategies and represent the company in a highly ethical manner with strategic partners, industry consortiums, and customers.

The Director of Federal Sales will have superb verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable communicating value propositions and defining new innovative use cases with complex technical products. You will be responsible for building the federal sales pipeline, spearheading proposal development, and conducting sales presentations with government prospects and clients.


What You'll Do:
●Oversee and run end-to-end sales cycles in the Federal market
●Work strategically with customers to identify new business opportunities, managing through the sales cycle and closing complex transactions
●Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets
●Partner with other departments to manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ process
●Manage sales plan to ensure sales and revenue goals are achieved
●Cultivate and manage relationships with federal prospects and clients
●Design repeatable processes and record all leads and opportunities in Salesforce to optimize the inside sales team


What You'll Bring:
●7+ years in software or technology sales with specific expertise into Federal
●A track record of navigating multi-stakeholder sales at the executive level
●Exceptional relationship development skills
●Managing all aspects of the sales lifecycle from account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting.
●Predictable and accurate forecasting capabilities
●Consistent quota over achievement in previous roles
●Proven partner and liaison with all levels and departments within an organization
●Should be able to partner with Alliances/Channels and work with partners for crafting and selling solutions.
●Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
●Salesforce experience
●Experience at a fast-paced startup a plus
●BS/BA degree

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $135,000 - $160,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus. This position is eligible for a generous sales incentive bonus.
