The Evolved By Nature team is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Finance team, working in the Needham, MA office. The ideal candidate will be professional, articulate, and enjoy working within a collaborative, fast-paced and dynamic environment. This candidate must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all levels of employees, vendors, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will leverage a broad range of skills, good judgement, and creatively problem solve. He/she must be able to work under pressure with the ability to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance team with reviewing and processing invoices, requests, reports, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Facilitate Accounts Payable by entering invoices and ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor the Accounts Payable email account and assist with inquires, questions, or concerns promptly.
• Work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile vendor statements to ensure that our accounts remain in good standing.
• Support Finance by coding invoices and credit card expenses appropriately, maintaining wire payment logs, and managing month end and year end processes for payables.
• Ensure contracts have been reviewed by the appropriate parties, are routed for signature, distributed, and filed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience required
• Prior Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Accounting Skills

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task effectively is a must
• Strong understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as data entry, record keeping, and filing
• Professional, courteous and mature demeanor
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Willingness to assume additional responsibility and learn new skills
