Senior Research Associate, R&D, Applications & Branded Products

The Evolved By Nature Research and Development team is looking for a Senior Research Associate to work with the R&D team to develop applications methods for new peptides and develop formulations for the cosmetic industry.

Responsibilities:

· Design and lead experimental plans for raw materials and final skin care and personal care products.

· Prepare detailed technical reports for project team deliverables.

· Lead products through a design control stage gate process.

· Application work on new peptides entities to be used in personal care products.

· Ensure accurate record keeping of all research work, generate progress reports and presentations in a timely manner.

· Participate in routine maintenance of lab equipment and other lab responsibilities, such as ordering of materials and supplies as needed

· Develop new formulation across skin care and personal care for branded products and natural ingredients.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field

· 2-5 years (BS) industry experience in formulation or/ raw material application.

· Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Skills & Abilities:

· Technical Knowledge: Formulation experience in cosmetic products/or raw material application.

· Experience with product development or product launches.

· Experience with design control or stage gate process

· Research experience in polymer chemistry or protein work is a plus not required.

· Interpersonal Skills: Team player. Able to communicate effectively with other team members across the organization

· Able to focus on details and trouble shoot issues and problems.

· Able to quickly learn new concepts, techniques, and practices.

· A sense of urgency

· Familiar with documentation practices and record keeping.

Other Requirements:

· Able to obtain up to date Covid-19 vaccination status per the current CDC guidelines (full vaccination dose and booster) prior to employment start day.
