Public Relations Specialist – Biotechnology

Due to the company’s expansive portfolio growth, the Evolved By Nature Creative team is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping the public image of our company and products. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with editors of consumer and business-focused publications, securing stories about our company, and effectively communicating our scientific innovations to the world.

Responsibilities:

· Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with editors and journalists in consumer and business-focused publications.

· Story Development: Create compelling narratives that showcase our company's mission, products, and innovations.

· Press Releases: Draft and distribute press releases to announce new product launches, partnerships, and company developments.

· Scientific Communication: Translate complex scientific concepts into clear and engaging content for both scientific and non-scientific audiences.

· Content Creation: Develop articles, blog posts, and other written materials to highlight our products and industry insights.

· Social Media: Manage and create content for our company's social media platforms.

· Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage and PR performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree applicable to Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing. If you can convince us that your Culinary Arts degree makes you the perfect candidate, we’d love to hear your case.

· Strong interest in biotechnology, sustainability, and scientific concepts.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven experience in public relations, preferably in the biotechnology or related industry.

· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain media relationships.

· Familiarity with skincare and fashion industry trends is a plus.

· Proficiency in social media management and content creation.

· Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently.

· Passion for sustainability and environmentally friendly solutions.

Other Requirements:

· Able to obtain up to date Covid-19 vaccination status per the current CDC guidelines (full vaccination dose and booster) prior to employment start day.
