Due to the company’s expansive growth, The Evolved By Nature Process Engineering team is seeking a Manager, Process Engineering, Personal Care to support their expansion. Working cross-functionally, this Manager, Process Engineering, Personal Care will help scale personal care manufacturing by managing the implementation of capital projects and expansions, as well as supporting Engineering needs in other areas. This position is required on-site, and will be based in our Walpole, MA manufacturing facility.

 

We’re seeking an energetic individual to ensure the on-time delivery and successful start-up of our expanded manufacturing facility. This person will report to the Director, Process Engineering and will work cross-functionally with Project Management, Operations and Quality.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

·      Provide hands-on engineering support of existing and planned Personal Care process equipment at the Walpole site

·      Provide on-site engineering review and management of facility and process improvements in support of the Personal Care production space

·      Manage vendors/contractors/trades

·      Optimize facility layout and design to support efficient Manufacturing workflow

·      Draft and perform IQ/OQ/PQ of new processes to complete qualification prior to transfer to Manufacturing

·      Establish initial SOPs and preventative maintenance schedules for process operation for hand-over to Operations

·      Implement cost reduction/sustainability improvements throughout the Personal Care manufacturing process

·      Partner with Operations to facilitate ongoing manufacturing while driving continuous improvement efforts

·      Assist with other ad-hoc Process Engineering projects

·      Perform other duties as required and assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering

·      Master’s Degree preferred

·      7+ years industry experience, with experience driving continuous improvement efforts

·      Prior experience with the following strongly preferred:

o  PLC programming, P&ID, CAD, Statistical software

o  Lean Manufacturing and GMP/GLP considerations for new facility design

·      Excellent project management skills

·      Strong influencing and negotiation skills

·      Superior communication skills
