Due to the company’s facility footprint expansion and strong portfolio growth, the Evolved By Nature team is seeking a Senior Director, Operations, responsible for the domestic and foreign manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met. This role will scale and improve internal manufacturing operations, while developing and expanding external operations globally to support a growing customer base and demand.

This position reports into the SVP Operations, and is based in Walpole, MA.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•      Lead internal operations teams, including manufacturing management, logistics management, facilities management, and manufacturing engineering

•      Lead external operations teams, including CMOs and future acquisitions

•      Drive and advocate for standard work within leadership, documentation, and day-to-day activities

•      Passionately model a Lean approach to support the Continuous Improvement program and drive initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost

•      Collaborate with Corporate Development to select and maintain relationships with CMOs and chemical partners

•      Foster a high-performance team through hiring and employee coaching/training

•      Cultivate strong partnerships cross-functionally with HR, Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, and Process Engineering

•      Implement and manage process for order fulfillment from external operations

•      Collaborate with Planning for internal and external manufacturing

•      Facilitate cross-functional team to oversee the product transfer process to external operations

•      Develop and institute manufacturing KPIs to reflect Strategy and annual deliverables, including internal and external manufacturing

•      Coordinate with Finance team to support annual cost rolls and identify areas for cost reductions

•      Oversee the implementation and ongoing execution of a robust PM and facility support programs

 

Qualifications:

 

•      Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or similar field

•      10+ years related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

•      Proven experience leading and executing manufacturing and logistics, including oversight with global contract manufacturers and customers

Travel Requirements:  

 

• Up to 15% international
