Hey, are you looking for a purpose? Let us introduce ourselves… 👋
We are CybSafe. We’re on a mission to revolutionise the way society addresses the human aspect of cyber security 🚀
We’re building the world’s most intelligent behavioural security platform to combat the rise of sophisticated scams, fraud, and malicious hacking.
We’re using the power of science, data and cognitive technology to transform the way we address the human aspect of cyber security, and create a safer and better digital world for everyone.
We’re a tribe of risk-takers, game-changers, free-thinkers and doers. And we’re passionate about the impact we have on our planet through our software and our voices.
We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and creative User Researcher to join our Science and Research team to conduct evidence-based user research. You are fascinated with people-centric security, human decision making and thrive in solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
The role of the User Researcher is to lead and generate actionable insights into the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of human behaviour and decision making to influence cyber security behaviours. These insights will be applied to improve CybSafe’s product offering with the objective of optimising cyber security outcomes (e.g. improving people’s security behaviours and reducing cyber risk).
Passion. Impact. Transparency. Autonomy. Purpose. Diversity. Belonging.
If these resonate with you, come join us and make a difference.
Diversity & Inclusion - we don't just talk the talk...
We believe in being a diverse and inclusive tribe. There are no excuses for anything less. We recruit, employ, train and promote qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, sex, disability, age, veteran status, and other protected statuses as required by applicable law. We are aiming for “more” than great - we believe that truly diverse teams can do impossible things and we want to do those things.
We have created a survey to better understand those that want to work at CybSafe.
This is an anonymous and voluntary survey, used to help us see how different demographics progress through our hiring process, and where we need to make improvements to give them a better chance of succeeding.

Your role in this mission...
The Science and Research team focus on four core work streams: research and innovation, user research, thought leadership, and wider education. The role will particularly involve improving our product with applied user research, and thereby lies at the heart of the user research work stream. It will involve a balance of research, identifying tangible improvements, and being part of all aspects of the product development process as a subject matter expert. The role may also involve working as a member of the research team on externally funded research projects.
Our perfect person is intensely curious and will have exceptional abilities to turn research insights into tangible product improvements and capabilities. You will have experience in running and interpreting evidence-based research and incorporating this into your work.
You love technology and it is a significant part of your everyday life. New technologies and the potential they have to change the world excite you. You look forward to working with new tech and enjoy talking about it with friends and colleagues.
At the early stages of your career? Or looking for that next step up?
We welcome applications with a range of experience for this role!
